NHS England has changed its guidelines around which over the counter medicines should not be prescribed by the surgery. These medications are used to treat routine, self-limited conditions, minor conditions suitable for self-care and items of limited clinical effectiveness.

We have not issued medications that are available over counter since 2018, when the new guidelines were introduced.
