Practice staff

Administration

Working behind the scenes, the admin team are a vital part of keeping the practice running smoothly. This team supports and maintains our appointment schedules, the IT and clinical systems we use plus process documents, letters, registrations, and recalls.

Clinical administrators

Our dedicated team of clinical administrators work is a specialist role at the Practice as they use their clinical knowledge to ensure that all our patient hospital letters and medical notes are accurately coded and organised for our clinicians. They also ensure our online access requests for patients are processed and deal with clinical correspondence for our GPs.

Patient services team

The patient services team provide an important link for patients with the practice and are our patient’s initial point of contact for all general enquiries. They also know a lot about many services that either we provide, or are external to the practice, so they will do their best to signpost you to the most appropriate service when required. They are well trained to know which clinician or service is best to help our patients, therefore ensuring that our patients will receive the right care at the right time.

Secretarial team

Supporting our GPs with much of their referral work, our secretaries ensure patient referrals (urgent and routine) and incoming X-rays are processed quickly and efficiently. They are experts in knowing who to contact in the hospitals and other health care providers external to the practice. They arrange hospital transport for patients and process all the post in and out of the practice on a daily basis. Our team also prepare medical reports and summaries and provide correspondence for patients when needed.

HR & support team

This office supports our practice by managing everything to do with our existing team and the recruitment of new personnel including advertising, processing applications, references, interviewing, and networking. They also cover the day-to-day financial running and safety and quality standards which are essential to maintain the services we provide for our patients.
