All patients at our practice can now use the NHS App, a simple and secure way to access a range of NHS services on your smartphone or tablet. You can use the NHS App for health advice, book appointments, order repeat prescriptions, consult with us online using eConsult, plus access your Covid vaccine information for travel. We are NOT able to provide a vaccine travel certificate, so the app is the simplest way for you to have this information to hand, which is supported by the Government.
Alternatively, you can call the NHS helpline on 119 (from 17 May) and ask for a letter to be posted to you. This must be at least 5 days after you’ve completed your course of the vaccine. The letter may to take another 5 days to reach you, or more if postal services are affected. Please take account of this when making your plans.
The NHS app is available for Android or iPhones or you can access the NHS App services from the browser on your desktop or laptop computer.

If you have not used it before, there is a self-registration process within the app to create an “NHS login”. If you already have access/ login details for patient online services, for example “Patient Access”, you may use this.
It’s so simple to use, you don’t need to visit the surgery with ID, plus there’s no need for hanging on the phone waiting to speak with someone (listening to lengthy on-hold messages) necessary!
